My thoughts:

I am a contemporary abstract painter based in California, creating nature-inspired abstract paintings that explore color, movement, and emotion. My work is influenced by flowing water, botanical forms, and shifting light, translated into layered compositions that evoke depth and atmosphere.

Each painting develops intuitively, allowing color and texture to guide the process and create expressive, organic forms.

Philosophy:

My work explores the connection between emotion and abstraction through layered acrylic painting techniques. I focus on creating balance between movement and stillness, using color and texture to express what cannot be described through words.

Process:

I work primarily with acrylic on canvas, occasionally incorporating mixed media. My paintings are built through multiple layers using wet-on-wet blending and intuitive mark-making to create depth, softness, and movement.

This process allows each artwork to evolve naturally, resulting in modern abstract paintings that reflect both structure and spontaneity.
